Good news htc desire HD owners around the world htc now can update blackout ICS 4.0.4 custom rom firmware. Below I will give the step by step tutorial guide/procedure for you. This firmware update is not official. Also the firmware is based on the Incredible S and for this you need to fully wipe the device before applying the update.This update comes with the latest Sense 3.6 and ICS 4.0.4 firmware build. Also this firmware according to the developer's work it is 100% stable and does not have any bugs.

Requirements:
1. Your device must be rooted before applying this update.
2. Back up your important data's such as SMS, Contacts, Call logs, Images APN Settings and etc.
3. Now enable USB Debugging mode in your Device, do this by going to settings>applications>development>USB debugging.
4. The battery life of your device should not be less than 70%. to finish the update without turning your device off.
Now the step by step guide/procedure on how to Update HTC Desire HD with the ICS Blackout Custom ROM Firmware:
1. First, dowload Blackout iCS custom rom firmware package here.
2. After downloading, connect your Device HTC Desire HD to your computer using your USB cable and put the downloaded zip files in your device.
3. Disconnect your device from the computer.
4. Turn off your device to enter recovery mode.
5. Now enter to Recovery mode by pressing Volume Down button + Power Button while holding both simultaneously press the Power Button.
6. If you entered the recovery mode you need to select "install zip from sd card" then choose zip from sd card and select the blackout ICS custom rom firmware package.
7. After the update is applied, the device will be rebooted. So check your device if its updated or not by going to settings> about phone.
note: in about phone you will see there is ICS 4.0.4 mentioned if there is no 4.0.4 it means your device is not updated and you need to reapply the procedure again.
